Translation
Translation of written texts from French and Spanish into UK English.
Editing
Editing a monolingual English text to ensure the content, style and structure of the text is fluent and accurate.
Proofreading
Checking the final document for consistency and spelling, punctuation and grammar errors before publication.
Revision
Comparison of the original source text and the translated text to ensure complete accuracy and to correct any mistranslations or errors in tone, style or content.
Machine translation post-editing (MTPE)
Editing of a text produced by machine translation to ensure the final translation is accurate and reads well for the intended audience.
Copywriting
Creation of a text for marketing purposes to increase awareness of certain products and persuade potential customers to take action.

Step 1 - Get in touch about your project

Contact me via email or webform with your project, including the type of content of the project, the source language, the length/how many words you would like translating and any other important details. I may need to see the text(s) first.

Step 2 - I'll get back to you
​
I'll get back to you and we can discuss the project to clarify exactly how you want the final text to look. We'll discuss style, content and voice, amongst other details, to ensure that the final text will align with your desired end product both textually and visually. Once agreed, we can set a deadline for the project and I'll send over an invoice.

If I am unable to help you, I may be able to refer you to one of my trusted colleagues in the industry.

Step 3 - Quote and project start

Once you've accepted my quote, I'll get to work on the text and send over any questions I may have along the way to guarantee that the final text matches the expectations we set out previously.

Step 4 - Project delivery
​
I'll deliver the completed project before the agreed deadline, along with any other necessary information.

Step 5 - Feedback request and invoicing
​
Quality matters. I strive to produce the best translations possible while providing as great a service as possible. I may send you a small feedback form and if you fancy filling it out, it would be greatly appreciated! If you're happy with the result, I hope we can work together again in the future!
